There is an organization called Friends of Wikileaks also. They send you a pack out of things you can do to help....money and domains being the main priority.

Nice to see some supportive mobilization going on.

That tag-teaming CEO globe-trotting gossip king doean't need our help.
He'll probably do two lines of coke off the chest of the female lawyer going after him, donate a drop in the pond of his secret accounts to build a re-education center in Sweden or whereever the hell, and get off scot free. Then he'll just keep releasing more damaging info about America because it's easy and he'll be banging eco-tourists, college hostel jumpers, and super models in a Venetian mansion for years to come.

It's a shame these charges had to bring him down. The charges seem ludicrous, but who knows.

What's the Endgame?

WikiLeaks and this Cyberwarfare is the Internet Version of Reichstag Fire. The Government can use WikiLeaks and this Cyberwarfare as a justification to regulate and control the Internet.

Twilight of Internet Freedom? (http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/tech-mainmenu-30/computers/5386-twilight-of-internet-freedom)

If the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has its way, the sun is about to set on Internet freedom. By Charles Scaliger

Internet Freedom Targeted (http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/tech-mainmenu-30/environment/2689-internet-freedom-targeted)

Ostensibly crafted to “protect cyberspace,” the Cybersecurity Act of 2009 (S. 773) is a comprehensive measure that, if enacted, would give the President the power to “declare a cybersecurity emergency and order the limitation or shutdown of Internet traffic.” By John F. McManus

Coming Cyberczar to Regulate Internet (http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/tech-mainmenu-30/computers/1911-coming-cyberczar-to-regulate-internet)

Bill Would Give President Internet Control (http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/tech-mainmenu-30/computers/1773-bill-would-give-president-internet-control)

CNET News reported on August 28 that it had obtained a draft copy of a Senate bill (S. 773) that would “permit the president to seize temporary control of private-sector networks during a so-called cybersecurity emergency.” By Steven J. DuBord

President Obama’s Cybersecurity Plan (http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/tech-mainmenu-30/computers/1188)

President Obama introduced his administration's new report on cybersecurity, but some of the promises he made about protecting privacy on the Internet ring hollow. by Steven J. DuBord

Specialist Claims China Waging Cyberwarfare (http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/tech-mainmenu-30/computers/1134)

Kevin Coleman, a cybersecurity adviser to the U.S. government, claims China is waging cyberwarfare on the United States, but some of his claims about China's new operating system, Kylin, don't stand up under scrutiny and call into question his motives for making such a dire report to the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission. by Steven DuBord

New Cybersecurity Regime Proposed (http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/tech-mainmenu-30/computers/983)

The proposed Cybersecurity Act of 2009 would enable the president to declare a cybersecurity emergency and order the limitation or shutdown of Internet traffic,” with no exact definition of “cybersecurity emergency” given. By Ann Shibler

I had Rush Limbaugh on the radio, today, and who ever his guest was suggested that Wikileaks is trying to get the web shut down. That shocked me to hear that on Limbaugh.

WL has released NOTHING that we didn't already know (war crimes, wars going badly, State Dept sizes up other countries leaders, Israel doesn't want Iran getting a nuke, etc). The 9/11 Bloggers have uncovered and released FAR more valuable information than WL ever has.

Assange has made derisive remarks about 9/11 truth.

So, we have the MSM hyping WL day in and day out. We know who the MSM works for. A world wide media shitstorm has been created over WL who has given us FUCK ALL.

Wikileaks has accomplished ONE THING: Created an atmosphere among politicians to severely censor the internet.

You do the math.

It's the "excuse" the Government needs to lock down the Internet by passing the S.773: Cybersecurity Act of 2009

Taken from Youtube comments:

1. The virus would have to exploit a vulnerability that has a very low degree of likelihood of existing at all. The phone's video decoders are based on those that were already written for computers, which were subject to decades of testing in the real world and exposure to actual security threats and attacks.

2. The virus would have to explicitly access contacts on the phone by reading memory directly, and different smart phones and even different OS versions on the same phone store this information in different ways. It's unlikely an MMS video could contain enough information to be effective accross a wide variety of devices. Any phones that use hardware video decoding would not be vulnerable...
because the decoder would have no access route to the phone's memory.

3. The virus would have to explicitly control the phone's MMS messaging system directly, and different smart phones and even different versions on the same phone perform this operation in different ways. This is very similar to the problem raised in the second point. It's extremely doubtful that a virus embedded in an MMS video could contain enough code to support enough different smart...
phone variants to be effective, on top of the problems raised in the second point.

4. The attack is too easy to mitigate by the user, because every smart phone has a hardware-based shutdown method that no code on the phone can override, and can then be flashed with a vulnerability update from the phone's manufacturer by the user, using their computer with which they sync the phone.

5. The attack is too easy to mitigate by the carriers, because they can easily look for this particular video and variants of it, and not allow them to propagate through the MMS system by dropping their transmissions, or simply shutdown MMS temporarily and text all their users to update their phones.

I doubt there will be any serious move to censor the internet. That is too obvious and would stir up opposition from just about everyone who uses the webbernets. There may be some sabre-rattling, though. More likely, new spy software will be developed to spy on webbernet users.

We already have a "cyber-czar", last I checked. We're already in a minor dystopia. The internet isn't even considered a reliable source (except for a few "official" sites). The Establishment and the Media regime could always just shrug big revelations on the 'net as "internet rumors". There are plenty of sheeple who would readily swallow regime lies like that.
