I agree, actually. Ads should just be Ron Paul talking. One of those ways he could stand out from the rest.

Agree 100%. Nobody trusts the radio announcer guy anymore. We're not selling tires we're selling Freedom. And nobody explains Ron Paul better than Ron Paul himself.

Hopefully the campaign will see this.

A shot of the crowd reaction at a big rally would be great too -- first, Ron Paul impresses them with his wisdom and passion, then, a huge crowd responds. This reinforces the positive feeling created in the viewer, and gives them a visceral counter-argument to the outdated idea that Ron Paul is a long shot with little support except on the Internet.

I actually like the use of the announcer for the purposes of this ad.

Sure, *I* personally would rather hear Ron Paul talk. But the thing is, when Ron Paul speaks, he says truths that are unpleasant to some people. The announcer guy is great because his soothing voice builds up people's trust so that they're more ready to hear Ron say things that will painfully remind them of ideas they used to endorse. Then the announcer comes back on and soothes the listener again, so that the experience is an overall positive one for the Recovering Neo-Con. That's what I got out of listening to it, anyway.
