So today i flew from phoenix to Orlando and i got to go through the wonders that are the TSA.

I had an early flight so i got there about 2 hrs early expecting some reasonably heavy traffic through security. Of course since i was early i was through the TSA in less than 15 min but my experience in line was somewhat unique.

Before the ID check person there was a TSA agent going through the line telling people about the liquids and crap and a whole bunch of people were telling him they couldn't go through the porn scan for w/e reason and he pulled them out of the line and told them to go ask for a pat down. Now i was watching while queuing and didn't notice a single person going through the scanners so curiously ask why they haven't been using the scanners and the agent says, "Yea we don't turn those on til about 8".

So despite the fact that the scanners were not on (and they told me it as if it is like that every day) they were still having people request to get patted down to avoid them.

Just more proof the TSA is useless theater.

Aren't you glad your hard earned tax dollars are paying the salaries of these guys?
