Same here. I'll go ahead and send them email too explaining why I'll be shopping at Newegg this year.

Don't forget that Zappos.com is now owned by Amazon as well.

Sure they are, but this is not the issue here.

Amazon yanked wikileaks due to pressure from politicians, headed by the Joe Lieberman. When the govt decides what is acceptable speech its not the business who is exercising its free speech, quite the contrary actually.
