I wonder what all the European socialists from a certain board would think about this? Lol, they're always telling me how horrible the United States is and how perfect their democratic socialist societies are. They don't even care to know who's paying their bills.

It has to be asked then if this was the purpose of QE2, to displace eventual US involvement and debt issurance for a EU bailout with the IMF acting as proxy.

I'm thinking that it was, since I don't know a single person who isn't/can't borrow because rates are too high.

Was there ever any doubt this would happen?

WTF? Iceland is better off than Ireland because they REFUSED to bail people out. They have no right to bind us to paying that off.

I hear a chopper, unfortunately all the money raining down is obstructing the view. I'll try yelling "Hi Ben!!" and see what happens...:)

If this is really happening, the dollar needs to go ahead and get weaker against the euro already. It was .75€ to $1 yesterday and now it's .76€ to $1. Mama needs to buy some cheap goods from America with her stronger Euros, dammit.

</selfish asshole> :D

Nah, I really don't want that... I'm just trying to sound like a European now that I live in Finland.

George W. Bush must be so proud for launching this disgusting, immoral bailout era. His "TBTF" lie (http://www.zerohedge.com/article/guest-post-lies-across-america) has gone international.

Americans love authority figures who act as if they have all the answers. It matters not that these egotistical monuments to folly and hubris (Bush, Obama, Paulson, Geithner, Greenspan, Bernanke) have committed the worst atrocities in the history of our Republic, leaving economic carnage and the slaughter of thousands in their wake. The most dangerous man on this earth is an Ivy League educated, arrogant ideologue who believes they are smarter than everyone else. When these men achieve power, they are capable of producing catastrophic consequences. Once they seize the reigns of authority these amoral psychopaths have no problem lying to the American public in order to achieve their objectives. They know that Americans love to be lied to, so the bigger the lie, the more likely it is to be believed.
