The latest poll from New Hampshire (pdf):

UNH Poll Feb 2011 (http://www.unh.edu/survey-center/news/pdf/gsp2011_winter_primary021511.pdf)

Ron Paul is the first choice of 5% of likely Republican primary voters, out of 13 candidates.
His favorable rating is 36%. (This is enough to win, people.)
His unfavorable rating is 35%. (Gingrich, Palin, and Trump have higher unfavorable ratings.)
19% don't know him -- we can change this.
10% are neutral.

Paul did better than Palin and Trump, and just as well as Gingrich versus Obama. Not bad.

People need to make better use of this thread. I think part of the problem is that it's a sticky. (People usually ignore them--I know, very ironic).

Can we unsticky this?

This Quinnipiac Poll (http://www.quinnipiac.edu/x1295.xml?ReleaseID=1595) is very interesting. On the first page, it says that 10 percent of American voters are "enthusiastic" about Ron Paul, and another 25 percent would consider voting for him. This is enough to win, already, with good turnout -- if we can convince people that he is electable.

Only 27 percent of American voters said they would never vote for Ron Paul. This sounds high, but is lower than the numbers for everyone else except Romney: 58% would never vote for Palin (making her unelectable), 58% would never vote for Trump (unelectable), 42% would never vote for Gingrich (longshot), 32% would never vote for Huckabee, and 26% would never vote for Romney.

None of the so-called leading candidates have any significant base of support. Romney and Palin have 15% enthusiastic about them, not that much ahead of Ron Paul.
