Sunlight is a wonderful disinfectant and in this case a lot of diplomats and other government workers are surely thinking about what they communicate for fear that it could someday become public. As expected, the government is trying to minimize the impact of what was released and trying to prevent it happening in the future, rather than addressing the contents.
One think I'm really curious about is what kind of bribes and arm twisting the gvmt used to get the "Coalition of the Willing" to cooperate. Anyone seen anything on that?

It's worth noting that Congress is exempt from the US Freedom of Information Act.
Considering the governments inability to keep information secret, think about their "owning" our banking and medical records. Do you really trust them to keep that information secure?
