If ever there was an indicator of just how apathetic and well trained the American public truly is, it must be this situation with TSA. Like a herd of bedraggled sheep, thousands of you forfeited your 4th and 5th amendment rights and allowed the government to irradiate you and view your virtually naked body, or allowed yourself to be subjected to an enhanced pat-down…nothing short of a sexual encounter. And for what? This is a training and conditioning exercise you fools! This has nothing to do with making us safer, national security or protecting America. It has nothing to do with making your flight safer. It has everything to do with conditioning you to accept a full body assault as long as the persons doing it are wearing a government badge. You are being trained to submit and comply.

Did any of the claimed terrorists come from America? No.

Are any potential terrorists afraid of TSA and Homeland Security or any of the rights-robbing laws passed by the jackass’s in the District of Criminals? No.

Did any of those laws apply to terrorists? NO! They applied to US citizens.

We have a border that is wide open and anyone and everyone from far away places such as Uganda, China, North Korea, and even Afghanistan have crossed that border at will, without any trouble, and millions of people from Mexico, El Salvador, Ecuador, and various and sundry other South American country’s have also entered and Homeland Security has absolutely no plans to secure that border or to deport any of those individuals caught here illegally. With this in mind……how concerned do you think Homeland Security is about terrorism or terrorists?

Who is it Homeland Security views as terrorists? YOU.

For all of you who claim, “I don’t mind….they are just trying to keep us safe”….may you be the first to be loaded on a truck to the FEMA camps. As submissive and compliant as you are, most likely you will drive yourself there. And don’t forget to get your fake flu pandemic vaccine on the way! In fact…take mine! And just for good measure, why don’t you present yourself to the nearest Fusion Center and have yourself facially imprinted, have your iris scanned and your finger prints taken so that when you walk down the street all those spy cameras that are being installed in every city, can identify you and record where you were and what you were doing.

How damn stupid are you people going to get?

Thanks to all of you compliant jerk-offs out there, there are now plans afoot in several locations to install these porno scanners in the entry to courthouses, train terminals, subways or virtually any location that people might opt to use for travel. Thanks to you mindless sheeple, we will all now be subjected to this invasion of our persons. And why? Because you might be a domestic terrorist if you opt out! After all, so many others compliantly obeyed and allowed this invasion of their person to go on unchallenged. So, if you are objecting to these rights violations and don’t want to be sexually assaulted by some pervert with a TSA badge, that must mean you are a domestic terrorist.

I have news for all of you: The domestic terrorist in this situation is the guy/gal with the TSA badge on.

Of course the plans to install the porno scanners in the subways, train stations, courthouse, and wherever else they are going to appear, is not just a sudden event. This was the plan all along. Homeland Security, the agency charged with defending the government from you, has just taken a giant step forward in exposing itself as the police state agency that it was created to be.

One thing this episode has shown us is, there are far more perverts out there than we ever imagined. What kind of moral or decent human being would take employment that not only violates the Constitutional rights of those being assaulted, but also physically assaults them in a manner that would otherwise be a criminal act? Who knowingly takes employment that would encompass the groping of the private and genital areas of not only adults, but also children? And then smiles and tells you it was to “keep you safe”. How sick is that?

It just goes to prove what I have maintained for years; you can take an ordinary everyday, individual…your neighbor, family member, friend…..and slap a government badge on them and they suddenly become a psychopath with no morals, no ethics and no sense of decency. We see it in state level agencies where agents knowingly violate rights, and perform acts of aggression against members of their own communities, and we see it here again in these federal level agents.

Where I once believed it was a situation comprised of those who worked for government vs, those who didn’t, I now believe it is more those who work for government and those who blindly comply with government vs the rest of us.

We are being maneuvered into a full police state. Thanks to all of you who complied with this police state action, the rest of us will pay the price. You forfeited your rights just so you wouldn’t be inconvenienced and forfeited everyone else’s at the same time. Why? Because standing up for what is right might have delayed you?

How pathetic is that?

The state of the american people is sad indeed. My advice, get prepared for the worst and at least save yourself and family. The sheep will not wake up and the problems are only going to start compounding as the economy and geopolitical situation deteriorates.

This article makes an interesting point: the sheeple that blindly follow the rules are as bad as the government itself. I would daresay that the sheeple are WORSE than the government. Governments come and go, but the sheeple seem to be forever. Most Americans sat on their asses while the historical equivalent of liberty minded people were risking their lives fighting English rule.

Ugh, I thought I've been making some progress with my mother lately, but then this came up. We were talking about it and she agreed with me..then she repeated something that Michael Savage said. She told me that the TSA is ridiculous, but that it should only do the scans and pat downs to Muslims because they are the terrorists.

Ugh, I tried my best.

Calling people "sheep" is the equivalent of calling them stupid. Most people have big immediate problems in their life that take priority over what they perceive as a quick pat down.

Calling people sheep is offensive and will immediately cause people to shut down about what you are trying to communicate to them. This is a lesson quite a few people need to learn.

If people haven't woken up enmasse to the fact that we live in a burgeoning police state by now, they never will.

How does your mother expect the TSA to determine what a passengers religion is? Perhaps whisper that into her ear while she is watching Fox News.

That's what I asked her, and she didn't have much to say about it. She's normally agrees with me on many things, but she got into Savage's latest book and can't stop listening to him lately :\.

Would lemmings be better?

Btw. Sheep has been used for a long time.
There is the story of the "Good Shepard", who goes looking for the lost sheep. Christ is the "Lamb of God". Pastors
And of course there are the eugenicists that want to "improve the herd". "Herd immunity".

Sheep is a common and long used term for the masses.

Precisely... As a Christian I am use to being called a sheep by many so it is really no big deal. In fact, I actually consider it an honor and teach my children to do the same. I would imagine that the majority of Christians feel somewhat the same..

We sing a song called baahh were lambs as sort of a joke sometimes.

Me thinks LibertyMage might have something against sheep. Some sort of fear or something... :D

AF: A couple weeks ago you posted a thread with the question "Is there anyone who supports these body scanners?" Well, during thanksgiving, I brought the topic of the tsa and body scanners up with my fiance's family. Sadly, none of the family seemed to care and one of them was even defending the tsa and the body scanners justifying it as for our own security!

Most people on the street really couldn't care less how long the masses have been called sheep. If you call someone a sheep to his face, he's going to immediately stop listening to you. Berating and insulting people is no way to get them to listen.

Has anyone ever heard Ron Paul publicly calling people sheep or compliant jerk-offs?

It looks like area malls are now using Canine Dogs who can smell drugs and explosives to patrol them (i saw it on the news last night). Columbia Mall is an upscale mall that is in an upscale neighborhood. However, I guess it shouldn't be surprising that:

"A survey by the trade group found that 69 percent of shoppers said they would feel more secure in a mall with a K-9 unit on patrol. Kavanagh said Americans have become accustomed to accepting “heightened levels of security” since the 9/11 terrorist attacks and other crimes."

Thank you! I didn't like the tone of this article. I am not going to be so hard on myself when I choose to fly home for Christmas in a few weeks. My family lives 3,000 miles away. Yes I am very against the TSA and I would like to boycott, but why should I be punished and not see my family just because the government is oppressive? It seems like I am going to lose no matter what.

I voted for Ron Paul. I've worked hard for liberty. I protest and I'm careful about where I spend my money. I pay attention to what's going on and I spread the word. I'm playing my small part. Why should I be further punished?

There's only so much any of us can do.

The one thing I see in the whole TSA deal is a lot of those who are screaming about the violations in the 4th have no problem with it when it's an IRS agent wanting to look through our wallets.

No, what this person is doing, is correctly pointing out that the vast majority of your fellow citizens are compliant jerk offs.

People will be dragged kicking and screaming toward freedom, just like they were dragged to understand what the 2nd Amendment means.

The greatest success was when the "freedom forces" adopted a no holds barred, in your face, approach.

You can try and mollify these idiots all you want, I'm fair sick and tired of it.

Sorry, but that isn't the case at all. No ideas were ever spread effectively by a minority telling the majority they are jerk offs. That is what created the whole "Ron Paul people are crazy" meme back in 2008.

Everything in politics is a quest to win over the public opinion, not a quest to "mollify the idiots".

Actually, everything in politics (from the politician's and political hack's view) is about seeking, gaining, and maintaining control.

"In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way."
Franklin D. Roosevelt

P.s. Every time I heard the "RP people are crazy" meme, it was in the context of their (our) advocation of Ron's anti-war or anti-FED stance.

Ron Paul himself asked us to be part of acts of civil disobedience. Since those acts rarely 'win over the public opinion', it seems there are other reasons for doing things in politics.

Generally, people follow statutes like what the TSA does "to secure us" because they figure it's the law, and assume the law can never be wrong. It's basically a failure to acknowledge that some laws are evil and/or useless.

I think the author was spot on.
I also think that the sheep I know would not be swayed by this.
I know fairly well that they will not be swayed by anything.
They are sheep, after all.

Most people have big immediate problems in their life that take priority over what they perceive as a quick pat down.
Not a single one of his problems is bigger, more immediate, or higher priority than "eat that hay", "get out of the rain", or "fuck that ewe".
It's a really apt metaphor that way.
It means that the person in question either can not or will not stop his daily routine long enough to wonder about anything at all.

I don't care whether such people's feelings are hurt.
I don't care about their political power. It will always be bent to a purpose that rewards them quickest, and therefore is incompatible with liberty.

If they can serve my interests after the collapse, so be it. Until then, I've given up hope.
Perhaps a couple might come around. If they do, great. If they don't understand the moniker at that point and feel a great deal of shame at having been one, then they haven't come around.
