The good news is that this is a really popular podcast. These guys also live in L.A., so this kind of stuff is quite nice to hear.

I've been listening to the show every day, I'm a big fan. He talks about a lot of other things besides politics, but I've heard a couple segments lately on politics and I love hearing him rant on everything, but especially government.

Dr. Drew: "Do you know what the average Federal Employee makes?! $120,000 PLUS BENEFITS!!!! RIDICULOUS!! - Adam Corolla responds: "Well guess who decides how much they make?"

Dr. Drew: "...and now people are wanting MORE government!?!"

Adam: "First off, if you think the government is going to DO something for you, you are sadly mistaken.. that's #1.. They are there to take your money...and to keep order... so they can take your money... They need you, you're an earner, your a drone, all apart of one big bee hive.. The President is the queen bee ... That's all you're going to get out of it... ....In the absence of competition, nobody does their job well, even if they think they are doing their job well."

Later Dr. Drew talks about how when the medicare fees are set to go down in January by 20%, a lot of doctors are going to leave the profession and that is going to begin the disaster that will become our medical system.

Adam is hysterical. Politically I agree with him about 90% of the time.

He is one of the most popular podcasts on iTunes and gets something like 2.5 million downloads a day last time I looked it up.

I think the 'benefits' he was referring to were pensions, which I don't think are included :confused:

Today on his podcast some guy called up and said he got a BS ticket, he went in and had it the court date extended a couple times.. then finally he came in and the officer wasn't there and he won.

Then he went on to sue the police for $450 for wasting his time. He itemized all the hours and took it to small claims court. The police dept. called him and was trying to talk him out of it, but he wouldn't back off. They offered him $300, they said that was less than what it would cost to send a lawyer out to the small claims court!!

Amazing. Adam called him a true American hero.
