don't need stencils! Do it freehand. That's how I did it

How did you keep the "love" from falling out? It looks like it is cut all the way around.

Yes the letters are cut all the way through, but the rectangle is scored out just enough to let the light through so thats how the "love" doesn't fall through.

Let's see some more pumpkins y'all!

oh yeah, i almost forgot. use vasiline to coat the inside of what you cut so it doesn't shrivel up in less than a 24 hour period like this pumpkin now is. DANG!

I'm Impressed! Great Job! Can I use it for my avatar at another forum?

For those afraid to take on those carving skills, you can always paint it on the pumpkin and display them in your yards.

I took the pic too. Wide open for a 6 second exposure. a little overexposed for that slight glowing effect.
