That's great if it actually works.

Only problem is that you need to go through the scanner for it to mean anything.

I love it. This is a better protest than the opt out day when everyone is traveling with kids (bad choice of days imho.)

I wonder if the metal in it is enough to set off the metal detector by itself?

Except the folks running the scanners don't read.

They just look at the pictures.
;)

If they could read and comprehend the Constitution they would not be employed there.

Clothing options that may not be wise are T-shirts selling on the Internet that mock the pat-downs.

What about boxers that cover the entire private areas with this metallic lettering so you couldn't see the genitals? I don't think that would be permitted. :)

I'm sure wearing a protest T-shirt will get a person labeled as a "suspicious person/possible domestic threat."

But hell, I'm guessing most of us who post here regularly are already on THAT list!! :D

You are right,KCindy. I am sure we are on the list already so might as well go all the way.

Being an airline pilot, I have to deal with the TSA around 10 times a month. I have came up with some creative ways to screw with them too. It's sorta become a hobby for me. My favorite I'll share here is similar to this, but minus the scanner. Take some tin foil, cut it in the shape of a hand with the middle finger sticking up, and put it in the outer most zipper pocket of your roller bag, that way when it goes through they get a nice gesture.

I've promised myself one day I am just gonna dart through the metal detector with my bags in my pilot uniform and see how far I can get on the other side before they stop me.

you would make it quite a ways....the TSA folks I have seen would cower in fear if they presumed a real threat. Then they would call for back up and ruin your day.

Why not just paint the whole shirt and boxers in it?

From the same article:

Recently, a San Diego County man who resisted the groin check, telling an officer, "If you touch my junk, I'll have you arrested" became an Internet hit when he posted tape of the confrontation online. On the Alex Jones syndicated radio show, a frequent flier complained that a TSA officer put his hands down his waistband because he was wearing baggy sweat pants.

He's catching on I'm telling ya. :D
