We have 2nd Amendment rights. No law trumps "The right to bear arms".
Why would we be arrested for carrying an M-16 (legally permitted and in an open carry state) through the terminal?
I can see the private airline company not letting you on the plane. But if the airplane terminal is paid for by tax dollars, it's public property and a place where you can bear arms.

Aren't international terminals under a different sort of jurisdiction?
Not sure who actually has jurisdiction over domestic terminals

Negative most airports are state entities so technically the only place you cannot carry is past the security checkpoints. Very few people can afford a true M-16 but many, many people can afford and do own AR-15's. They look alike but the AR is semi-auto only whereas the M-16 is select fire including either burst or full auto mode.

Why.
Damn good question.
Why can't you buy an M-16 at the hardware store?
Why can't you order a handgun through the mail?
Why can't anyone purchase a gun with no questions asked ?
Why can't you carry one in any manner, anyhow you chose, where ever you go?

Our society would be much different (safer) if we were allowed to do something as simple as carry machine rifles in airports.

I'm pretty sure CheaperThanDirt sells guns over the internet.
They're damn expensive though coming from a site called "cheaper than dirt".

why because this country is not about liberty......its about control. Saftey is just a way to get from individaul liberty to state control.
It will end badly but........americas is overdue for a fight with its govt.
I'm ok without convicted felons owning firearms, so I can see why you wouldn't sell firearms through the mail.

I am an Ex-Felon. :(
I have also long ago completed my sentence (paid my debt) and have lived and worked honestly since. My rights were restored (allegedly) and I bought my home and property and it is fully paid off. I have paid my taxes (income, sales and property)
You would deny me the RIGHT to self defense.
Fuck you.
