Reading her words makes my brain hurt. It's like reading the instruction manual on something made in China.

I try to remind the Palintards about her support of TARP, but they don't want to hear it. As far as spending (not to mention war and civil liberties) goes, she's Bush-in-Bra.

I think her popularity as Governor was more for her increase of oil socialism from her "windfall profit tax" on oil companies than anything. In her two years as Gov, she increased spending by 38%. (What kills me most about her short tenure as Gov., was that she was hoisted by her own petard, i.e. her ethics law.)

As Mayor, the Wild Wordsmith of Wasilla (http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/11/14/the-wild-wordsmith-of-wasilla/) also left the city 20MM in debt, raised taxes (to build a sports complex) and managed to garner 27MM in federal earmarks for a town of 6700 people.
