This is why I hate two faced gutless scum Republicans.

Rather than slam the scanners as the obscenity that they are, and rather than calling for their removal, this ass-clown Bobby Jindal goes on TV show this morning and merely criticizes Obama for "not giving us a heads up before the new procedure went into place."

And of course....no mention of the fact that this scheme and the TSA itself originate under Bush.

Dont count on the new Congress doing anything about this either.

It's just part of the con game. Recently, Obama alluded to the need for the DHS to "better" explain the "reason" for the "necessity" of the privacy intrusions and molestations by the TSA. Jindal is simply echoing the government's propaganda. Right, most of the Republicans currently in the US Congress voted for the Patriot Act... the violations of the 4th amendment and sexual assaults rest squarely on the shoulders of these GOP hacks.

True. We need to get out ahead on this story. The republicans are already watering it down just like the dems watered down abuses during the Bush administration. Neither side is telling the truth which is that profiles, patdowns and porn scans were not needed to stop the undie bomber and would not have helped anyway. For crying out loud, if a suspects father says "my son may be a terrorist" that's freaking probable cause for an arrest and detention of that one person. They think we're stupid.
