Maverick Texas Congressman Ron Paul was third with almost 15 percent while former Tennessee Sen. Fred Thompson got under 10 percent, a major disappointment for his campaign.

Coming from a news service that has ignored Ron Paul almost as much as the Associated Press, "maverick" is quite a compliment -- up from "fringe candidate", up from "long shot," even more voter-friendly than "dark horse."

Wow, the "he's going to win the nomination" category is way out ahead of the others, good work team. And thanks for the update on the values voters straw poll, I was hoping we'd top Huckabee but I guess that was wishful thinking at this point.
