Security in airplanes has reached a nearly psychotic point lately to the point where they wouldn't let an 89 year old woman bring knitting needles on a plane for fear she could stab someone or something. However, they're letting far more potentially dangerous people on board. What about really big guys who know how to fight with bare hands like Brock Lesnar who DON'T NEED weapons to deal serious damage to normal people in an environment where everyone is stripped of anything that could even potentially be used as a weapon? Couldn't some crazy martial arts terrorist snap a pilot's neck and hijack a plane without contraband weapons of any kind? Wouldn't someone over 7' tall be far more of a threat just by himself than a pair of toenail clippers in the hands of a 10 year old? All the groping molestation and pornoscanners in the world won't stop big, strong guys from getting on the planes. And even for smaller people, you don't know who might have extensive martial arts experience. To be TOTALLY secure they would literally have to handcuff everyone to their seats or involuntarily sedate them for the duration of the flight. If they don't stop ramping up security soon, that might be what's next.

I was speculating on this the other day. I was on a flight with about 8 buddies - all pretty large, a couple who play football. The rest of the flight was sparsely populated with business people, kids and women. I imagine if we wanted to cause damage we could.

You recognize that because you're not a fucking moron. Of course he can't break down the reinforced Kevlar door, but neither can a pair of toenail clippers, or knitting needles, or most handguns or 99% of the other shit they search for with their groping and pornoscanners. I'm just saying, if a granny with a pair of knitting needles scares you, Brock Lesnar must make you shit your pants.

For some reason big and strong men do not get involved in hijacking and other terrorist activities. Many of the 19 hijackers on 09/11/2001 were kids and they were known as "muscle hijackers". Usually all the terrorists are average men.

But there is always high possibility that 8 or 10 strong hijackers hijack planes with bare hands.
