I can't stand that two-faced Perry! The Judge asked him about rejecting TSA security at airports in Texas and he just went off on a tangent instead of answering the question, what a hack...

To hell with him and his "loverboy" Glenn Beck...

Geraldo Rivera is a loathsome prima donna who is only backtracking on 9/11 because recent FOIA releases show even greater numbers of firefighters talking about bombs on Sept. 11, 2001. In other words, Geraldo is simply covering his arse over his previously foolish remarks back in 2006. IMO, Geraldo is an unprincipled, loathsome individual trying to save face. ;)

I don't think Glenn Beck really cared who won that race. He just wanted to give Medina a chance to make clear that she wasn't a 9-11 truther, and obviously she messed up the answer and ruined her campaign.

Yep. It was a softball question, and it required a simple answer. "No, the government did not bring down the towers on 9-11."

And then Beck muted himself so that she couldn't hear him talk over her. This doesn't need to be rehashed.

listen to the interview and tell me how she sounds like a 9/11 truther?

YouTube - Glenn Beck interviews/attacks Debra Medina/911 Truth movement: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRO6fRibQO0)

he sounds like a conspiracy nut now on his tv show, all she said was that people have the right to question their government which is something he should understand considering the "crazy" conspiracy theories he talks about on his show about our government, he's a hypocrite and a clown...

Glenn Beck=Controlled Opposition, but that's just my opinion

She said that she was unsure of whether 9-11 was an inside job or not. That just isn't something that you can say if you're running for Governor. Haven't you noticed that both Ron and Rand have said that they don't believe that 9-11 was an inside job? It wasn't Beck's fault that Medina gave an answer that cost her the chance to become Governor.

I'm not gonna argue about it with you, that's something I have learned by now is that two people witnessing the same event can came come up with totally different conclusions about it... I have my instincts, you have yours, as it were... :)

Please understand that I don't mean to sound condescending, but I have very good understanding how "systems" work, upon which I come to the conclusions that I do...

Sorry, I meant to say Governor. But my point still stands. You can't run for that high of an office and flirt with conspiracy theories.

Why would a nationally syndicated talk show host have a candidate on his show in order to *exclusively* talk about 9/11?

In your answer, it might help to simultaneously answer the question: Why would a cable television personality have a candidate on her show in order to *exclusively* talk about the Civil Rights Act of 1964?

You can't really compare the two issues for one thing. The Civil Rights Act is a settled issue from 1964. Conspiracy theories regarding 9-11 are very relavant to today's political discussion. I think that Beck brought that up simply to give Medina a chance to put to rest the allegations that she was a 9-11 truther. It was a softball question in my opinion. I do support liberty candidates like Ron and Rand and others, but I draw the line at candidates who believe in conspiracy theories or flirt with conspiracy theories.

Ok, I believe you. Now, I task you to find a mainstream news piece from before the interview which mentioned her potential 9/11 beliefs, or potential involvement with 9/11 groups, or donations to 9/11 causes, or.....

Because, if your logic is correct and Beck brought it up to "put to rest the allegations," then there must have been allegations. Right?

I don't know how I could ever find that. When you do a search you just find lots of results for the Beck-Medina interview. How would Beck know to ask her about that if he hadn't heard from someone that she was a 9-11 truther?

Just a wild guess but it was probably because she was on Alex Jones' show several times the week leading up to the Beck interview. Beck's sidekick who was getting annoyed by Medina supporters probably tipped him off to this.

1) Go to http://news.google.com

2) Type in what you want to search for

3) Hit "Enter"

4) On the left-hand sidebar, you have the option to click on various "time" options. If you click on a year - say, "2010" - you then have the option to refine your search further by using the "Custom Range..." option, which allows you to search for news articles, say, in the week before the Beck/Medina interview.

I invite you to share your findings with all of us. I'll eat crow if my memory serves me wrong, but I really don't believe that Debra Medina being a 9/11 truther was a hot topic in the blogosphere leading up to her interview with Glenn Beck.

Regardless, if this was the reasoning, then Beck making a 10-minute segment out of 9/11 can be called nothing but complete manufacturing of a controversy.

That might be possible. Regardless, I'm just uncomfortable with candidates who flirt with conspiracy theories, even if I happen to agree with most of their views on the issues. I'm glad that Ron Paul has stayed away from all of the 9-11 conspiracy stuff.

I agree. But Beck has always been a psycho when it came to questioning the official story of 9/11. It's psychological, because he transformed his life after that day.
