Concerned about inflation and the ever-mounting national debt? Did you know our dollars only come into existence through loans – and that if all debts were paid there would be no dollars under the current monetary system? Did you know the Federal Reserve is a board of corporate banks that create un-backed paper and electronic funds and loan them back to the government at interest, creating more debt?

Did you know that the member banks are exempt from audits and taxes – and that the primary shareholders are secret? Did you know that in 1913 the U.S. government outsourced the issuance of our currency and no longer controls it?

President Andrew Jackson won the presidency in 1828 with the promise to end the national debt and eliminate the Second Bank of the United States (SBUS). During his second term President Jackson withdrew all government funds from the bank and on January 8, 1835, paid off the national debt and is the only president to have that distinction. The SBUS's charter expired in 1836.

The United States experienced unprecedented growth for 60 or 70 years, without a central bank to manipulate the supply of money. The resulting wealth was too much for bankers to endure and they weren't going to let a bunch of peasantey, penny-pinching common folk get the best of them. In 1910 Senator Nelson Aldrich, then Chairman of the National Monetary Commission, conspired with representatives of European central banks. Together, they devised a plan to pressure and deceive Congress into enacting legislation that would covertly establish a private central bank.

That "new" re-hashed SBUS would assume control over the American economy by controlling the issuance of its money. After a huge PR campaign, engineered by the foreign central banks, the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 was slipped through Congress during the Christmas recess. Many members of the Congress were absent. President Woodrow Wilson, pressured by his political and financial backers, signed it on December 23, 1913, and is quoted as later tremendously regretting his signature of that Act.

If you'd like to learn more about how to get rid of the Federal Reserve again, hopefully for good, then join us on Saturday, November 20th, 12:00 pm-4:00 pm at Eleanor Tinsley (Buffalo Bayou) Park, 1800 Allen Parkway (directly across from the Houston Branch of the Federal Reserve).

The event will be covered by LiveonLocation TV and can be viewed at your home or office for a small fee, approximately $2.00, covering expenses for the event. (This link will be available in the next few days but is not available as of this update time today, 11/7/10.)

An End the Fed Houston team member will also be seated in a speakers' tent interviewing each speaker and folks in attendance throughout the day. "We’re excited about making this event accessible to everyone,” said organizer Benito Segovia, “this cause is one of the most worthy I’ve worked on and this event is going to be huge.” End the Fed donations link (http://endthefedhouston.com/).

"This [Federal Reserve Act] establishes the most gigantic trust on earth. When the President [Wilson} signs this bill, the invisible government of the monetary power will be legalized....the worst legislative crime of the ages is perpetrated by this banking and currency bill."

-- Charles A. Lindbergh, Sr. , 1913

"A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation...and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men."

-- Woodrow Wilson, after signing the Federal Reserve into existence on December 23, 1913

"Some people think the Federal Reserve Banks are the United States government's institutions. They are not.... They are private credit monopolies which prey upon the people of the United States for the benefit of themselves and their foreign swindlers"

-- Congressional Record 12595-12603 -- Louis T. McFadden, Chairman of the Committee on Banking and Currency, June 10, 1932
