I note the difference between Rand and Ron on the tax cuts with Rand pushing harder... and suspect it is because Rand and the GOP in the SENATE can actually do something about it in this Congress, with cloture. The House Dem majority is so large, the GOP can't shape what is brought to the floor if the Dems hold firm. I suspect it will start in the House and pass as only up to $250,000 keep the tax cuts, to help House Dems, then will go to the Senate and be modified to a temporary extension for all, then will go back to the House and be approved.
I wouldn't put a lot of money on it, but that is my expectation.
