I'm sad they rejected the one with the tea-cup. Should've added a top-hat and monocle.

He's an ophthalmologist, a doctor. I believe an optometrist is more of a specially educated technician. They don't do surgery.

"Optometrists do not attend medical school. Most complete an undergraduate degree before beginning four years of training for an optometry (OD) degree.

Some complete a postgraduate one-year clinical residency to gain specialist certification."

Well, almost never. It looks fine to me.

Seriously, though, when you need to promote your candidate/concept to a broad audience, don't listen to the activist libertarians for artistic/marketing help. Listen to the moms you know...and trust the artist you hire or manipulate into helping you. If I would have listened to my libertarian friends, we would have never have achieved this design...which led to the largest crowd ever at a college campus for Dr. Paul.

(And if you guys start hating on it, it'll only prove my point! Ha!...keep in mind Bloomington is a very artsy community...so this worked perfectly.)

Looks influenced by Russians. Maybe they are trying to claim Rand is a Commie.
