This is the first of a three-post series that shows what happens when a professor brings his politics into the classroom. An LSU astronomy professor mocks and ridicules right-leaning students for their opinions about global warming.

No facts, just fear. Is GW a religion? He sounds like a global warming preacher.

Does this fool realize that America isn't even the #1 Greenhouse gas emitter (Let's put aside the ridiculous methodology of AGW's for a second)? I wonder how history would be if Marx, Engels, and Mill were never born...

thats the way they all are. He just hasnt gotten the memo yet - typical of liberal professor, stuck about 5 years in the past.

At least we dont hear much about Al Gore in the news anymore. I miss it though, his speeches at outside venues and it starts snowing on him in October.

Well to be fair, he would consider us to be the #1 emitter because he would trace our consumption back to the source CO2 emission and hold the US consumer accountable.

Which is cool...except that no concentration of CO2 that is anywhere near what we have now is toxic to the environment imo...

I think I would actually enjoy a professor like that. It would be fun pushing his buttons and I think in the end most of the students would agree he is beyond reason and logic. But thats just me, typical instigator. :D

The professor himself has blood all over his hands for accepting stolen loot for his paycheck.

Sure, but how can you when they're supposed to be astronomy courses?

Of course. This part of the James Hansen suck-off club. The 'science' coming out of the NASA crew is 90% predicated on bullshit. These are the same assclowns that cannot explain the energetic electrical burst from the Wild2 Deep Impact mission using their mechanical/gravity-only cosmological models. These are the same dipshits that see electrical phenomena staring them in the face everywhere in space (Saturn's 'unexplained' aurora, the Earth-Sun 'magnetic ropes' <Birkeland currents> etc). This is the death throes of their paradigm and the only way they can keep people pouring money into their system is to scare them. They're no different than the Catholic Bishops who excommunicated Galileo.

What if I believed in GW (I'm still agnostic), but believed that THE GOVERNMENT WOULD BE THE WORST WAY TO SOLVE IT?

The whole case for proof of made made climate change is so full of contradictions that threats are needed to force the agenda, that's how you know there isn't a case for it - the truth doesn't need propaganda or force, and it certainly doesn't need a 'we must act now or die' pretext. Some people have been mistakenly made to believe that we are all about to be wiped out by a warming planet , so the threats they make are justified in their minds.

Cancun here we come!

Sadly, the Pro-GW party is the Democrats and the Anti-GW party is the Republicans... and they say this is not a political issue...lol.

Only problem is with the students believe anything they're told. Believe me, I've seen it.

This is Ok ... Because you are right. Climate change is undeniable, that man is causing it by industrial CO2 release is unproven, and that government is the solution is the monumental non sequitur.

But we must - act - now before people start pointing out that none of the predictions are coming true.
