I hate that excuse of "You're going to politicize the monetary policy of the Fed if you keep it accountable to Congress." How do you think the Fed Chair was installed into power? By a president, who was elected by a politically-controlled majority of voters. The same thing applies to Congress. You can't just give unchecked power to a group of financiers whose sole job is political in nature, namely, manipulating the money supply of an entire nation (no less by a monopoly on a means of exchange). What the Fed does affects all people on the political spectrum, and its policies are not neutral because they are influenced by a particular school of economic theory--Keynesianism.

When will people learn to think more critically about this matter?

The tide is turning. More people are getting it. The next step is to hold the MSM accountable.

The problem is the process is not political enough. You have bankers who are allied to banks across the world making decisions on how to spend the wealth of US dollars. These bankers have no special loyalty to the United States, and if they decide that it is in "the world's interest" or "the interest of worldwide banking" to destroy the wealth of Americans, they will do it and ask us to thank them.

Ron Paul needs to double up the bodyguards.
I would not ignore any crazy scenario from the establishment to silence/neutralize Ron Paul.
We are talking about the gang of criminals and traitors here.
They will do anything to stop the real reform.

He should appoint Jesse Ventura as something in 2012. Who needs the secret service then?
