Wednesday, Emanuel nearly took an egg in the face while campaigning in the Windy City.

In footage caught by Chicago's NBC5, Emanuel was telling a resident about "strong leadership and principle" when an egg is heard cracking in the background. After a moment of visible confusion, a man off-camera tells the mayoral candidate that someone threw an egg.

"OK, don't worry about it," Emanuel said, launching right back into campaign mode without skipping a beat.
