PPP's newest batch of 2012 Republican primary polls conducted right before last week's election finds Mitt Romney ahead in the critical early state of Florida, Tim Pawlenty surprisingly weak in his home state of Minnesota, and Sarah Palin posting leads in Texas, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Maine.

"The larger the mob, the harder the test. In small areas, before small electorates, a first-rate man occasionally fights his way through, carrying even the mob with him by force of his personality. But when the field is nationwide, and the fight must be waged chiefly at second and third hand, and the force of personality cannot so readily make itself felt, then all the odds are on the man who is, intrinsically, the most devious and mediocre – the man who can most easily adeptly disperse the notion that his mind is a virtual vacuum.

The Presidency tends, year by year, to go to such men. As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

Nice girl and all, but if she's the (R) candidate against Obama, I'm staying home.

Not surprising.
That's what happens when you follow the orders from the establishment, Military
Industrial Complex, and AIPAC.
Good job Sarah, keep up the great work along with Bachman, Beck, Rubio and all the other infiltrators in the Tea Party.
You know how deep our wallet is.
So be a good puppet and deceive as many patriots as possible and bring them into our camp.
Go team the establishment!
Go team Military Industrial Complex!
Go AIPAC!
We rule, you serve!

Would you vote for any (R) candidate other than Ron Paul?
