LAUER: What do you miss most about the presidency?

Pres. BUSH: I miss being the commander in chief. That's an easy question to answer. I love our military. And I'm going to do a Veteran's Day event with people in the military. I--Laura and I had moms who lost a child in combat over to the house the other day, and I was inspired by them. And I love the military of the United States. And we are a lucky nation to have people who volunteer to serve. And I know you've met many in the military, too, and you know what I'm talking about. Well, to be able to be the commander in chief and have them salute and you salute back to people you admire is an awe-inspiring experience.
