"Obama, in fact, has called every new Republican senator-elect and many of the incoming GOP House members --'well over 100 calls' in all, said Axelrod."

I wonder how Rand's conversation went.

"Why, thank you, Mr. President! I hope we can find areas to work together, as well!............................................. .................................................. ................................................um .....My kids would really like to meet your kids!"

(And WTF about moving the Afghanistan withdrawal START to 2014 as McClatchy said yesterday?)

I feel like Obama is a cool guy to talk too, despite his atrocious policies. I could see him poking fun at himself on the phone and at the way Rand campaigned by evoking Obama's name at every opportunity.

I remember him joking about killing those musicians with predator drones. Hopefully, his jokes with the tea party candidates had a different tenor... :P

I used to think the same. But reading the articles in the past month goes to show that Obama is a psychopath. A narcissistic psychopath whos so full of his sh*t he actually believes hes some kind of great benevolent leader
screw obama

Rand just said on "face the nation" that Obama has not called him.

Rand just said on "face the nation" that Obama has not called him.

He added, "I think I would know from my staff if he had attempted to call" (paraphrase)

One has to wonder, did Obama not actually call/talk to the other winners? Or was Rand excepted for some reason?

To put the best face on their side of it, Axelrod could have known instructions to that effect might have been in place, but Obama's debacle at the G20 could have taken up his immediate time, so it hasn't happened yet. Sometimes communication breakdowns aren't sinister.
