I hope they air the show during O'Reilly's commercials, so that conservative zombies will have somebody to flip to, and possibly stick with. If their commercial timeslots are synchronized, Freedom Watch is screwed.

not if it makes them some money. Freedom Watch probably has higher ratings than any show currently on FBN.

This is great, maybe now he can have longer interviews. The show always seems to be short on time so the Judge only asks 2-3 questions per guest if there are several or he interrupts them. From now on he doesn't have to cram all the interesting topics from the past week into a One-Hour show.

Will it still be one hour, or will it now just be a half-hour show since it's nightly?

ha! Glen Beck thought so!.... but just like him I was wrong! :D

What’s the top show on Fox Business Network?

Well the nearly three-year-old business network still doesn’t release ratings publicly, but a recent claim about a new program, Freedom Watch, got us to investigate – and we found out what #1 really is.

Last month while speaking at the American Revival rally, Glenn Beck claimed Freedom Watch, hosted by his “good friend” Judge Andrew Napolitano, “is now the number one show on the Fox Business Network.” The comment was picked up by a couple outlets.

That would certainly be surprising – it has only been on for less than two months, but more importantly, it airs Saturdays at 10amET. (It is also repeated at 8pmET on Saturday and 7 and 11pmET on Sunday.)

We asked a source inside Fox Business who has seen the numbers to share ratings data for the new show. The source gave Mediaite a peek at the numbers for the show and while it has performed okay, it’s by no means the highest rated show on the network. Instead, that belongs to the show that has been the highest since it debuted back in October – Don Imus‘ morning show. That program averages around a steady 110,000 total viewers, occasionally topping CNBC’s Squawk Box. Other strong performers are John Stossel, Stuart Varney and Neil Cavuto.

Instead, Freedom Watch has been more volatile, occasionally reaching into the 90,000 total viewer range but more often averaging around 44,000, like it did July 24. From what we’re told the encores average in the 40,000-50,000 total viewer range. In the A25-54 demographic, the program got 9,000 July 24.

While the total viewer average is low, it does show that the program, a weekend morning show, is developing an audience. And as it continues to feature high profile guests – from Sarah Palin to Ann Coulter to Beck – those numbers will likely grow.

An FBN spokesperson would not comment on the numbers, citing the fact the network is still not a full service client of Nielsen.

Folks, this is the last stop before Da Judge is upgraded to what we've all been really waiting for: a daily show on Fox News.

I doubt they'd put Judge on to replace Hannity or O'Reilly, but I could easily see that flaming neocon Chris Wallace getting bumped by Freedom Watch.

A 2pm EST daily show on Fox News for Judge Andrew Napolitano would be incredible.

So... this is a permanent change I assume? Not where he's hosting the show daily for just a week like in the past? If so...

Yes, permanent. He announced it was coming last month:
http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=263506

Anyway, it almost seems like a libertarian media overdose now. We're still overshadowed by the statist talking heads and and mainstream media but look what we have now:
daily Freedom Watch
daily Schiff radio
daily Jason Lewis (100% pro-Paul national radio show http://www.jasonlewisshow.com/main.html )
weekly Stossel

There are others out there that are more conspiracy oriented you may or may not like such as Alex Jones, Glenn Beck, & Dr. Stan Monteith. And of course there are local libertarian shows like Bob Zadek http://bobzadek.com/ and all the net-only pro-liberty shows~podcasts like School Sucks, Mike Beitler, Radio Free Market, and Jacob Horneberger's new weekly show. And I almost forget Antiwar radio. Too much, too little time...

This has been explained hundreds of times before. It is not a conspiracy theory like everyone wants it to be. It is all about $$$$$ Napolitano brings in ratings, so he gets a weekly show, so they can make more $$$. Simple as that.
