Young Americans for Liberty is proud to announce our Five Six-State Campaign Plan to mobilize hundreds of trained activists right now in key battleground states.

After careful analysis and discussion, YAL identified New Hampshire, Michigan, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Nevada as five states to target this election cycle. Now, the first caucus state of Iowa has been added to the list!

All YAL donors, activists, and members: Please support this effort TODAY.

Here are the details of YAL's Six-State Campaign Plan:
YAL will deploy experienced field staff to Iowa to train local activists with the basic skills to effectively organize for freedom. The central event focus of YAL's presence in Iowa over the next few weeks before Election Day will be a visit from Ron Paul, hosted by YAL and Campaign for Liberty.

Because of the generous support of YAL's donors, the event is free and open to all. Here are the details:

* Date: Friday, October 29; doors open at 7:15 p.m.
* Location: The University of Iowa, Iowa Memorial Union [map]
* Cost: FREE!

YAL will recruit 40-50 liberty activists to travel to New Durham, NH, on Thursday, October 14. These attendees will undergo a full day of campaign training on Friday, and then over the weekend, they will volunteer for the local candidates of their choice.

Newly-trained YAL activists will knock on doors, make phone calls, assemble mailers, and inform voters about our issues. This program will make all the difference in close races in New Hampshire, and it will lay the groundwork for future progress in 2012.

To join the New Hampshire YAL Boot Camp, apply here. To support the activists in attendance, please contribute here. Contact Northeast Regional Director Chris Pille with any questions; view the Facebook event here.

The student activists in Iowa need to be ready for the Ames Straw Poll in 2011. If they plan it properly, they can win it for Ron, and it's critical that they do win because the Ames poll is the most important straw poll there is.

If anyone here is from Iowa, you have a lot of work to do. :)
