not just one but 3 or 4. It was pretty funny when Kasparov said, "Somewhere Putin is smiling. In Russia live TV is outlawed" or something with the same message.

They are talking about Bill Maher's HBO show. Friday nights are the new broadcasts. You must not have HBO :o
There are a couple people acting out. Good on HBO for not editing or retaking the show.

Yes the truthers need to stop associating their agenda with the campaign. i am sure RP is the best candidate for them, but they should stick to promoting his platform and message.

They can do the 911 truther thing separately.

Did you hear anything about 911 and Ron Paul specifically? I couldnt really even hear what was said during the show. Just some people shouting? Either way, the black lady said we should bring the troops home!

EDIT: Btw, I think Kasparov is the Russian equivalent of RP.

Chris Matthews gave Kasparov mad props.
The Truthers were with Edwards. The Truthers are part of every democrats voting base but they are using them against us.

I didnt like the last 1/4 of the show though. His attack on Values Voters was bad. But on the other hand a good showing for RP will bring in pissed off VV's votes.

Well, as a member of the may 25th bill maher audience (the night ron paul was in studio), i'm ashamed that these guys made more of an impact on the show than we did. I don't know how that guy brought the 9/11 sign in, as we weren't able to bring in ron paul signs. i applaud them from a strategic point of view. this is what could be called "blowback" for bill's comments that they are crazy a few weeks ago. I don't necesarily agree with them. i'm undecided on the 911 truth. But whether or not it's true, Ron Paul's non-interventionist foreign policy is the way to go.

What blowback? All they did was confirm Bill's comments about them.

How on earth some people believe that by going around chanting "911 is an inside job", is somehow going to get others to believe it to be true, are naive at best.

protest, now. worked pretty good for MLK!

lets quit being so self conscious about the 911 truther MSM spin, it failed. it doesn't hurt ron paul's growth in any way.

TBH his lifestyle is so pure and innocent he needs SOMETHING to give him some edge.

haha.

i mean the other candidates have major shit up their sleeve, like being in bed with gangsters, or clinton got elected when almost all themedia attention he got was about how he was an adulterer.

if it wasn't the 911 truth people, it would be CNN using his abortion stance to scare off anti war libs, or whatever. he has a really odd stance, and people love it despite the fact that it attracts people who don't see eye to eye on certain things.

but the things they DO agree on, is not having the constitution ignored, especially where it involves attacking other countries illegally and stealing from the life, liberty and pursuit of our own citizens.

its not like people will be fooled into not backing a candidate like that bc they heard some of the people who dont believe the official story on 911 like him too.
911 is the new JFK, give it about 5 years and itll be totally socially acceptable for every us citizen, and even politicians, to have their own theories about what really happened.

I'd say that's pretty politically tone deaf. In fact, the vast majority of Americans - you know, the ones we need to vote for RP? - think that 9/11 Truthers are insane. You can believe it or not, but it's true.

I saw the show and froze it to see what the signs said. I didn't hear anything about our candidate and the sign didn't appear to have his name on it. And for that, I breathed a sigh of relief.

But if you seriously believe the 9/11 Truthers aren't hurting the campaign, you're mistaken. I agree that every 9/11 Truther should support Ron Paul, just like EVERYONE should support Ron Paul. But they do need to make sure to separate that stuff from the campaign.

We have a rule in our Meetup. If Ron Paul isn't saying it, WE aren't saying it. When the election is over, have at it. But for now, it's all about the good doctor.

What "spin"? There was no spin. You could hear them making asses of themselves during Bill Maher's show.

What kind of sign was the guy holding up?

These people were part of Alex Jones crew "we are change".

9/11 needs to be re-investigated. Why wasnt anyone fired? Huge errors were made if you believe the official account. Many many people should have publicly lost their jobs, at the bare minimum.

My wife and I lost 4 people that day. The wife is a flight attendant for United airlines and is still traumatized to this day, not to mention all of the pay cuts and lost benefits she had to take because of that day.

One of my oldest closest friends was killed in the Pentagon. His death was NOT painless nor quick.

i believe they are making it seperate from the campaign.

it is the non-truthers that appear to have the problem. everytime the 9/11 truth crowd does ANYTHING there's a whole crowd of people who come on here to chatize them... this ain't the 9/11 truth movement...

so all the anti-truthers, keep your agenda seperate from the campaign... huh?

"Please, please, please, don't let that sign he's holding have Ron Paul's name on it. Please, please, please, don't let them yell out Ron Paul's name."

Those were my first thoughts. Thankfully, no mention of Ron Paul by these audience members.

And to those that believe 9/11 was an inside job, I don't think this helped your cause. I mean, I happen to believe the government failed us on that day, and that the investigation should've lead to people being fired, so am somewhat supportive of part of your cause (independent investigation), but let me just say that "Taser 'em" went through my head at some point during the show.
