Here is a kooky idea.
Ron Paul needs to hire a publisher that will print his book on hemp paper. That way, it will last forever. It would also be a collector's item in book world. Especially if it were signed. Plenty of worthy historians wrote and published their books on hemp paper. Anitquarian book collectors could ptentially profit, and so could the movement for industrialize hemp, as well as those who want his words written in "stone".

This, and note that only brick and mortor sales count for the NY Times best seller list. Amazon is much cheaper, so that's a pain, but I've pre ordered one at Amazon because living in California I'm not sure I'll see it in a book store, and I'll buy it in a bookstore when I do see it.

I have The Revolution: A Manifesto and I honestly didn't like it at all. Probably 50% of the book was just quotes from other people and there wasn't anything new in there that I had not known. Are his other books like that?

That was for people who didn't know where he was coming from. I liked it, but I was newer to learning about him, perhaps, at the time. I expect this will also have some basic stuff, to bring new people in, but 50 items.... there's going to be new stuff in there....at least to me. And I thought Revolution was well written.

I pre-ordered this a week ago in iBooks for the iPad. I'm guessing it will just 'poof' appear in my library some time tomorrow.

on a side note, I've downloaded a bunch of Sci Fi books in iBooks, and it is truly a pleasure to read them. I mostly read them in a dark room with the brightness turned all the way down, but bright lights with the brightness turned up works also. I've already read several books that I would never have been able to find the time or make the effort to go to the book store for prior to having iBooks on the iPad. Luv the technology!

Now if only they would carry a "Promethius Awards Collection" they would end up with a lot more of my money.

Only problem I have is how do I get RP to sign his book when its buried within my iPad?? :D
