What does this tell us?

Should we have people run for every single primary under (R); in every single election to see if we get lucky?

358,276 South Carolinians agrees, Jim DeMint started the recession.

I don't think it says much of anything. Those counties are solid dem and they mostly voted along party lines. If anything, it says how herd mentality shapes the democratic voting mindset. They would elect a complete imbecile over ANYBODY ELSE!

Take Williamsburg County -
The racial makeup of the county was 32.74% White, 66.26% Black or African American, 0.16% Native American, 0.20% Asian, 0.16% from other races, and 0.48% from two or more races. 0.73% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

I don't think ANY liberty candidate would have a chance. The liberals have capitulated the black vote.

Look at California, for example - horrible deficits, complete welfare state, everything going to shit and what do they do? Elect more of the same. Why? It is obvious, and it is capitalized on.

That's awesome.

DeMint is going to vote to raise the debt ceiling, worthless piece of crap.. Would have been much more entertaining to elect this guy..

What does this tell us?

That there is a large segment of society that would vote for a dead opossum as long as it had a 'Republican' or 'Democratic' label next to its name on the ballot.

Honestly, after seeing Greene's antics it makes me wonder if the folks on this website who supported him are serious about the Ron Paul movement at all. The guy was an obvious joke and there was a small group here that defended and supported him. Hell, he was listed as a f*cking liberty candidate in our primary list which was pinned at the top of the board!

It just makes me wonder whether some people got into Ron Paul for the right reasons. Was it a fundamental belief in the principles of austrian economics and the constitution, or was it just that it was the "cool thing to do" in their inner struggle to try to be "different" and "edgy" by supporting a candidate who is against the "system". That sh*t isnt gonna win us elections, and supporting every joke out there who the establishment doesnt like/makes fun of is entirely unproductive!

As you can probably tell by now, i am pretty upset that this happened. Anyone who seriously supported Alvin Greene over a relative ally in DeMint needs to re-examine their priorities immediately.

it tells that black folks vote based on race and based on party affiliation....NO MATTER WHO IS RUNNING.

It tells us the people in those ten counties are mentally deficient .

There's just something about Alvin Greene that truly inspired me, I don't know if it was that twinkle in his eye, his winning smile or his hypnotic charisma.

I love Alvin Greene, and I would follow him to the ends of this Earth. Never in our history has there been such a natural leader. Never has there been someone...so...so...endlessly fascinating.

You all forgot about the main reason many folks voted Dem in 2008...if you vote against a black man you must be racist (sarcasm).

I'll vote for Reagan in the next Guby election if I'm still longing around this state by then.
