NH/ Iowa/ SC 24/7 FM, Internet, Satellite Ron Paul 2012 Radio

Is this even remotely possible, or am I being impossibly ambitious with this idea?

I personally don't think its overly ambitious because that blimp took a hell of a lot of money!!!!! It took like hundreds of thousands of dollars every single week! I was always amazed at how the money just kept coming in to keep it flying week after week!

But imagine if we had our own RADIO STATIONS broadcasting 24/7 in early primary states, especially the most important ones, South Carolina, New Hampshire, and Iowa. Plus honestly, the only way Ron Paul can win South Carolina is with a dramatic push such as a radio station devoted to promoting him.

What about the legal issues with this?

Is it legal to talk about a candidate a ton, like almost the majority of the time, on a radio station like that? It should be, but that doesn't mean thats how it is lol.

Also, would legal problems cause it to take like months to get a radio on the air?

I think 24/7 radio broadcasting in at least the important early primary states reflecting the same message of the Paul campaign in 2012...

MUST be the goal of the grassroots to accomplish, for an infinite number of reasons.

I think you got a good idea, we just need to wait until someone more knowledgeable comes along to say if it's legal or not. Then maybe we could have a discussion about it with the elders of the liberty forest and see what they think. If it's a good idea I say we have a moneybomb for it and get these baby setup! The establishment uses the airwaves for their own propaganda why can't we??

If I recall correctly, low-wattage community stations are very legal to operate. Depending on the population density in one's home town, a "community" station could refer to a community of ten people or a million. I figure that if everyone interested in the idea had their own mini "radio empire", eventually we could find ourselves developing quite a respectable network that more or less blankets every market in the U.S.

This link might be of some help.

They did exactly that for distance learning in S. Africa with the content spread over the Internet. Then low power FM...

I am very interested in this. All our resources have to be focused on winning the early states - just as Rand focused all his money on winning the primary, and it paid off. Ideas like this sound more cost effective than some that we've tried...

We should merge this idea with DjLoTi (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=267241), create a chip-in to fund the equipment to have every town in America daisy-chained on the same frequency, for nation-wide coverage.

We should have 'National Shows' which could include the C4L with the Dr. Pauls at each and every state and county fair (http://www.festivals-and-shows.com/state-fairs.html), as well as speaking engagements at the universities.

The chip-in should include a portable studio with hardened cases, to be sent from town to town for live coverage of the different events. Should merge with a 'tube channel, meet-ups, and possibly the 'Ron Paul Revolution Radio'.com (http://www.rprradio.com/) for the internet stream. What about shortwave as well?

Once this is all setup, we should spam the 'chit out of all of the RepubliCon sites, press releases, advertise the station(s) and events utilizing google tv ads (http://www.dailypaul.com/node/129420) on late night Blech, etc...

How about another Blimp, to cover the events, and broadcast the signal?
