I voted Libertarian for Senate and Governor, Constitution Party for Treasurer, and Progressive (as a protest vote w/ no liberty candidate in the race) for Congress. Only 1 GOP vote for state rep.

The last time I voted for a R or D on the top line was for Reagan.

Voted Rob Taylor (C) for Senate here in WI. Neither Ron Johnson nor Feingold were doing it for me.

Libertarian for Senate/Governor/Lt Governor (weren't on ballots, write-ins).
Republican for Congress (scored perfect on the Campaign for liberty quiz, the Libertarian in the race was more of a socialist).
Republican for two lower state offices of people who were running unopposed.

I voted David Nolan (LP founder) for AZ Senator against McCain.

I voted Barry Hess for AZ Governor against Brewer.

I voted for a few other libertarians in smaller races.

I voted for almost exclusively libertarian candidates. I wish we could get more liberty candidates running with the major parties.

I voted for Libertarian candidates where possible, except for the senator and congressman. I had mixed feelings about that, but I had felt that it was necessary to oust the Democrats from the legislative branch, since at least there would be some gridlock (Also, Ron and Rand could use some "allies" even if only nominally). All in all, I voted 50/50 Libertarians and Republicans.

I'm at an awkward phase where I believe that the two parties aren't all that different, but at the same time, I particulary dislike the Democratic party, if that makes sense.

Perhaps the best part was having a vote on two Kansas state constitutional amendments, which both passed. The right to bear arms is now an individual right, even for recreational use, and the "mentally ill" cannot have their right to vote impeded.

Edit: I did vote for a Libertarian governor. Also, since state matters, I live in Kansas.

Yep, I voted for Libertarian Mike Beitler for U.S. Senate from North Carolina. Richard Burr is just "alright" - not as bad as Kay Hagan but still pretty bad.

Also, my dad and I hedged our bets by each casting three votes for the most fiscally conservative Board of Commissioners candidates in the Libertarian and Republican parties respectively.

Yes. I punched the screen for Wm. Redpath, from the Libertarian Party. I did not want Frank Wolf in office again, or the Dem, Jeff Barnett. (Wm. got 2.4 % of the votes.)

I wanted to in one race there was a Libertarian.... The voter preview thing from the election commission was the first indication I had that he existed - so I knew instantly that he didn't have a smow balls chance in hell of winning. So yeah - I went R - who seemed to have a decent chance of winning....

I voted for exactly 2 R's in high on the ballot races, the rest was (L) down the line if they had someone in the race, and there were in most races, no D's. Only a few judges without an L or D opposing.
in fact more L's than Dems were in races against R's.

For the first time in many, many years, I voted a straight Republican ticket. There were no Libertarians on my ballot, just a few Greens and Socialists. And I've yet to vote for any Democrat, wasn't about to start this year.

Voted Glass(L) for gov and voted libertarian every time I saw one... Of course I voted R for RP!

Out of 3,562 votes for TX gov in my county, 72 voted for Kathie Glass(L), wish I could meet these people...

Out of the 3,455 votes for US REP D-14 in my county, 2,791 voted for Ron Paul... not surprised...

Does writing myself in count?

(I did that for MA-08, state senate and state rep, which were all unopposed or had token opposition).

I didn't vote for any Rs or Ds.

Me too. I wasn't going to vote for that piece of trash R in my district that voted for the TARP bailout after he voted against it. I voted for 4 indys and not one D or R. I went mostly for my state referendums and was mostly pleased with the results.

They wanted to increase state taxes 32% or cut spending 20% (or a combination thereof) here to boost education to levels near the regional average, and it failed 81-19% (thank God.)

We passed the opt-out of Obamacare 65-35%. English only legislation passed 75-25%.

The only result I didn't like was increasing the rainy day fund - I don't believe the government should be hoarding the people's money. It passed by 51-49%.

Overall, I'm pretty pleased with the referendums; unfortunately none of the 3rd party candidates won though. (Oklahoma by the way)

I voted the same as any other election - straight Constitution Party ticket.

The only major-party candidate I've ever voted for is Dr. Paul.

A constitution party member for state house. It was the only third party on the ballot thanks to our top two system.

11-04-2010, 01:00 PM
yes. I only voted for two republicans because I live in a district that almost always goes democrat and this year they were on the ropes. I held my nose and helped push them harder against the ropes

It was great seeing the democrats lose Obama's own district where I live, but I have no real hopes of Schilling or Kirk being worth a shit.

Live in New York City.

Voted for Libertarian Candidate Warren Redlich for Governor.

Did Not Vote for a House Rep. in my Congressional District cause the R and D candidates were both horrible. (Carolyn Maloney's Seat)

Voted for Libertarian Candidates Randy A. Credico for U.S. Senate. (Schumer's Seat)

Voted for Republican Candidate Joe Dioguardi for U.S. Senate. (Gillbrand's Seat)

Think I voted for one or two other libertarians in minor races that I didn't know or care for.

I'm 18 so it was my first time voting. Since Palladino and Dioguardi had no chance of winning I voted Redlich for Governor, John Clifton and Randy Credico for Senate (all Libertarians).

For our House district I voted Randy Altschuler over Tim Bishop. In a few other races I voted Conservative, Republican, or Independent.

I only had one choice. Beitler for US Senate so I voted for him. He was the only Libertarian on my ballot.

Except judges, most of my ballot contained uncontested Republicans anyway.

No, Pat Toomey is Tea Party and Tim Murphy voted to Audit the Fed. I think no third parties put up any candidates in my voting district for this reason.

John Babiarz in NH for governor.

The choices for governor were a pretty competent democrat, Lynch, who still raised some taxes and fees or a neo-connish and somewhat corrupt republican, Stephen.

The rest of the choices for state senate and house were all "r"s, but most of them are pretty decent, liberty minded folks.

Almost every position on the ballot excepting judges had a third party choice in Ohio. So I voted the mix bag of Libertarian, Constitution Party, and Independent (for Traficant). The only Republicans to get a nod from me were judges...

I believe he came in second with circa 20%, but the Dem won reelection with about 65%. He might do better if he ran in the Democratic primary next time.

Straight-ticket libertarian for all races (state-wide), omitted many that I did not know the candidates well enough to decide on (I have one rule that enforce upon myself and that is: no uninformed decisions). Lastly, for Dist. 2 (SW Georgia) U.S. Rep.: I had to vote Republican Mike Keown over Democrat Sanford Bishop because there was no libertarian in the race. (Sanford Bishop won by about a 2.5% margin).
