If you have, or can get, a slightly smaller socket and a hammer, that sometimes works to get them off.

I had it happen to me once . After , I went to Sears and bought a nut splitter and carried it and a wrench to fit the splitter around in the vehicle .

I work in Memphis, but have gone home an hour away now. I don't know if I can help, though I would if it could be realistically be achieved.

Calling AAA is your best bet. If your near the Airport, don't wander around too much in those neighborhoods.

'Walking in Memphis?'

Surely someone on these forums lives near Memphis.

Got a better crowbar from the 18 wheeler weigh station.

Were back on the road. Look out!

AAA is your friend. It's amazing how quickly that card paid for itself :) I prefer to wait in the car with the heat/air conditioner on and the doors locked in some circumstances, thanks. Most times I can change a tire, but sometimes? Sometimes I don't want my butt hanging out so precariously close to the edge of an interstate, or to stand out in the snow, or to touch metal when it's over 100 degrees out.

Yep. AAA. Great Christmas present ;)

Sorry to hear that. Memphis is NOT a city you want to be stuck on the side of the road.
