me a few days ago about Rand (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showpost.php?p=2957445&postcount=8): "I hope after he is elected he drops the "no comment on ending the Fed, first step audit" line."

Interview still going on. No joke about Ron and Rand's day one fed bill. Paul said he expects to be chairman of the domestic fiscal policy subcommittee. Debate on how to get Bernanke to open the books. Judge Nap provided an outline and RP laughed his head off. Ron now saying he will pressure the fed every week as chairman.

What a fantastic interview! Ron Paul and Jude Nap teamed up and DPed the Fed. Ron Paul is also going to lead a sub-committee, where he's going to bring up the issue of the Federal Reserve as a focal point for their discussions! Psychedddddd!!!!!!!!!!!

If I may for a moment, I hope that Rand DOESN'T use his limited political capitol in this way. As much as I (we) want to end the fed - we don't have the numbers in congress to do it.

As the tea-party leader of the moment, Rand should use his grand stage to get us a balanced budget amendment.

Rand will likely fade from the spotlight soon and it's important he uses this moment in time for something that will pass. Just some food for thought.

Ron: "Weeeeell, I suggested to [Rand] that we have at least one specific bill that we introduce on the first day that both of us are there, and he says, 'How about End the Fed?'"

RAND suggested the End the Fed bill!!!!!!!!!!

No, he says that as an afterthought.

Full quote: "Well, I suggested to [Rand] that we have at least one specific bill that we introduce on the first day that both of us are there, and he says, 'How about End the Fed?' (laughter) So uh, End the Fed or Audit the Fed, we'll do something on monetary policy."

He adds in "Audit the Fed" almost as if to say that he (Ron) thinks it would be a better idea. Nowhere in that quote does he attach the idea to Rand....he says that Rand suggested "End the Fed."

Ron Paul knows it will be easier to get rid of the Fed if the public is aware of how badly they have been squandering their resources. When the Fed is audited, it will much easier to get rid of it with the public behind us.

WOW!

That host really knows his stuff. The Judge is the only other host on TV that understands the Fed the way that guy does.

It's amazing that just 2 years ago the Fed was a taboo topic, and now we are doing 14 minute intelligent segments on it.

Yeah, David Asman is good. FBN in general has been awesome in presenting Ron's views favorably.

I think he says "or Audit the Fed" because he recalls at that moment the conversation more precisely. I can guarantee you Rand was referring to Auditing the Fed, because there is no chance whatsoever that he will introduce a bill to End the Fed early in his tenure.
