He told David Price that he concedes this election but will not concede our country

The GOP won the majority in both chambers in NC, which means they'll be the ones to re-draw the U.S. House district lines: http://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2010/11/03/Redistricting-big-prize-for-legislatures/UPI-58221288733370/

This could be the real deciding factor for whether or not Dr. Lawson gets sent to Washington next time around.

Lawson needs to run in a Republican leaning district, period. Preferably an open or retiring seat. He also needs to raise over $400,000, not the $287,000 and change he did here. If he does the same thing next time as the last two times, he will fail again. Not following these basic rules for running a high-percentage race drains his and everybody else's funds and energy.

His first investment in a new run for Congress should be one of these:

We should change the tile of the "Lawson 2010" forum to "Lawson 2012" and keep next to the RP2012 and others.

So what comes next?

I called David Price last night -- unfortunately I wasn't able to speak with him personally, but I left a message on his voicemail.

I congratulated him on winning re-election. Then I told him that while I was willing to concede this election, I am not willing to concede our country.

I will see him again in 2012.

JoLynn and I are going to spend some much-needed time with the children over the next few weeks, but we are going to be working. Working to fix health care, working to grow our economy, and working to raise the money needed to defeat David Price in 2012.

Thank you again for your financial support, and pouring your hearts and souls into this campaign. Thank you for your prayers. Real change takes time, and we are on the right side of history.

In liberty,

B.J. Lawson
Republican for Congress

That will depend on what his district looks like after redistricting.
