Ron Paul was basically the man that brought about the Tea Party.

Good. It's time he got some recognition for bringing about such a revolutionary movement.

Rand's win and presence in the Senate will hopefully be a big plus for Ron's popularity and influence over the coming months. This could be a HIGHLY synergistic duo in each of the two chambers. I believe Rand will likely be a main stream media go-to much as Ron has been since 2009 or so.

How can it be said that Ron Paul brought about the Tea Party, when all of the candidates (with a few exceptions) are just "outsider" neo-cons? Not something I'd want credit for if I were him.

Martin Luther King Jrs. Dream didn't start out compromised either....that shouldn't take away from it's original intent nor should he be blamed for where it went wrong.

Because now WE can frame the debate instead of the TEO-O-CONS....

I just hope the Rand Paul on whom so many of projected our hopes during the 2008 campaign is the one who got elected. The Rand Paul I've seen over the past year was not encouraging.

The good Dr's answer to that obvious smack in the face by Faux News was one of the highlights of the entire campaign to me. That is Ron Paul at his best and that is the Ron we need more of next time around.

I still despise Cameron to this day for the way he treated Ron Paul.

Those of you who think Rand doesn't have the same anti-war beliefs of his father should watch part 2 of this speech. I think Rand was a smart politician and didn't say the things that would have caused him to lose. But he IS a chip off the old block.
