"Florida is open for business."

With those words today, Rick Scott acknowledged the victory that will make the 57-year-old Naples businessman the state's next governor.

"The people of Florida knew exactly what they wanted," Scott said. "With this election they said a message loud and clear. They said, 'Let’s get to work,' " a reference to his campaign slogan.
