In the 4th congressional district (http://www.nationalreview.com/campaign-spot/251876/morning-turnout-report): “Absolutely no line at my precinct. Some empty voting booths. At 8:00am I was the 162nd voter; polls opened at 6:30 a.m. Of course, 2008 was a completely different story. A check of the trash can on the way out would suggest that a large number of people had taken the conservative ‘voting guide’ that was offered outside the polling place. Not exactly scientific, I know, but you deal with the tea leaves that are available, right?”

Five Thirty Eight (http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/10/31/the-ultimate-hour-by-hour-district-by-district-election-guide/) has Price up +15.

NC-4 update: HUGE line at my polling place in Durham. At 7:50, easily vastly bigger than 2008 (when I walked right in). Today I had to wait about 30 minutes. When I left, the line was down the street. A lot of people took BJ Lawson / Republican slates, but a lot also took David Price cards. Amazing turnout. Price must be pretty nervous. Four Democrat electioneers to one GOP.

538 predicts 42% for Lawson. I find it hard to believe he would improve only 5 points over 2008.

Come on NC! BJ needs to be in Congress! He would easily be one of the best congressman this country has ever had. After Ron of course.

Justin Amash will be great too.

My prediction is Price 52 - Lawson 48

Price was likely able to bus in a lot of Durham folks during early voting.

The lower the turnout in this district, the better.
