And that's the way it is, November 2, 2010.

I'd venture to say that most on this board would agree on certain basic economic principles - savings creates investment, which creates capital in order to achieve greater economic return. This is true for individuals, organizations, and companies. Is there any reason to think that countries are an exception?

Just when I think the MSM can't dupe lower.... They full well know the truth and will do anything in their power to keep it from the sheep. Pathetic :(

Overly nationalist for my tastes. Plus, we won't ever "work for them" (at least, not directly), as the commercial claims-we will be slaves to the big bankers, corporations, and the regime.

That was great. Wish they would have pointed out how so many of those other great nations diluted their money supply.

The Debt based economy of the FEDERAL RESERVE and Washington DC is the biggest swindle in American history. A total success for them and total failure for Americans to allow this to happen.

Savings always generates prosperity, putting the money back in the people's pockets and the economy will flourish.

Not gonna happen with the most expensive governments (US Federal/State/Local) sucking 50-75% of people's money. i won't even get into the Global Empire building and control, False Dichotomy of National Security, and power grabs in the POLICE STATE.

PS: Secretary of War (Robert Gates) and Secretary of State (Hillary Clinton) are pushing for a new Nuclear Weapons program with the Senate Arms Committee... another $80 Billion down the toilet for what? It's an Empire of Lies and Truth is Treason.

This /\ After all, what is the point in having elections anyway? Just let the Communist Party run everything.

Well, you can still have an election.

OK, as long as people still do their work, I suppose that could be a permitted entertainment for the masses.

Seriously, that is the reason people need to vote - many states make it really hard to get on the ballot, unless a candidate for a recognized party. And you need to get X% of the vote to keep your party on the ballot. The effect of not voting ensures there will only be two choices in the future for general elections.

Some of you may want to bring it on and collapse the system faster, but that is not my preferred fix.

Just saw the ad on FOX News, actually!

Although it's def a little nationalist for my tastes as well, it's still a great and well-made and effective ad.

Americans suffer from the Mike Tyson complex. They think they can merely step into the ring and claim victory, thanks to pure intimidation. Little do they know, how fragile their artificial reality is. The bond vigilantes are biding their time, to scavenge on the remains of Uncle Sam when the opportunity presents itself. When that happens, Hello Northern Argentina.

The ad is very sleek and I like the style, but I don't really care for the message it's trying to convey; seems overly nationalistic like some have pointed out. I could find a ton of things in this ad to nitpick about, but some people here won't appreciate it, so I will just keep my mouth shut.

Lol at all of you uncomfortable with the "nationalism".

When you're directly referring to federal spending and international relations, who are you supposed to refer to if not the actor states? It isn't nationalism. It's objective reality.

Nationalistic-smashinalistic. The point is that one day, other people of the world will study the demise of America. We're going to be a blip in the history that we thought we were somehow immune to. Roman Empire, Weimar, whatever you like. We'll get our 'one paragraph or less' in someone's public school history books.

Too Bad the Communist Chinese censored the videos... Timothy Geithner speech to Chinese University Students.

Geithner: "We believe in a strong dollar ... and we're going to make sure that." and then, the Chinese students Laugh at him.

Imagine that quick Giethner exchange bit inserted into this commercial?

...oh man, that would seal it as the best political economic commercial ever.
