It's so sad when people are killed over the stupidest of things such as religion.

it wasn't just religion.

the original target was the Stock Exchange, but it was too well guarded. The church was for the most part wrong place, wrong time. any gathering near the stock exchange would have been a target.

Wrong place wrong time for a bomb that targets a Church?

Not very likely. Especially when you look at the history of Christians in that region. Christians used to be about 25% of Turkey for example less than 100 years ago now they are less than 1%. Wrong place wrong time.
