No, she shouldn't convert! I'm glad that she's there, to try and convert other liberals to the place where she is, wherever that is. She's a liberal who mostly understands us, and we mostly understand her, and that to me is a beautiful thing.

The thing is, not everyone is going to become a libertarian. Not everyone is going to become liberal, or conservative, or whatever. People have different opinions, and that's the only way it can be, and the only way it should be. Too many people (both Obama lovers and Glen Beck fans) are guilty of not even trying to understand the other side. What we need is understanding and tolerance, and Naomi Wolf proves that liberals and libertarians can have that. So, no, I don't want her to convert.

I agree. And Naomi isn't the only one that proves it. Ron Paul does as well. If ever this country needed a unifying President it is now and Ron Paul fits the need to a Tee.

She's aces. There's such a big difference between her "liberal" ideas and those of modern statist liberals. She appears to want to remedy certain social problems *while* preserving the liberty of citizens. Not an easy or indomitable worldview, but if we remember that 10% of the war budget would pay for massive shelters & food charity in every major U.S. city...liberals who believe that minimal amounts of money should be granted by a minimal-size government to protect against death from poverty, child neglect etc. are more an extension of Libertarian "minarchism" than a wing of modern liberal/corporatist rule.
