Manchin's approval rating hit 70% in this poll. Best we've seen for any pol anywhere this year:
Joe Manchin leads our final WV Senate poll 51-46. Should keep Senate in Dem hands:
Obama's approval rating in the state is only 31% with 61% of voters disapproving of him.
We really need the wave to kick in hard to overcome this.
Unfortunately:
Manchin's presence on top of ticket has also blotted out enthusiasm gap in WV:
And it's all due to the damn republicans...
Manchin has made enough conservatives comfortable voting for him. He's winning 19% of the Republican vote
My prediction: Manchin 51 - 49 (Raese)
I see upside for Raese in that flaky youngsters support Manchin, and those age 30-45 support Raese big time.
