I noticed that as well. Coburn is up in 2012.

We could throw him out, and replace him with Robert Paul.

That would be fun.

Coburn's one of the best senators though, and he's from Oklahoma. He should primary Cornyn instead.

Coburn is up for reelection this year. Also, I thought that Robert Paul is from Texas?

Ya you're right. Ensign in 2014 would be next in Oklahoma.

It would be worth getting rid of both Coburn and Ensign if we could find more conservative candidates though.

I think you mean Jim Inhofe. He's the other Senator from Oklahoma who will be up for reelection in 2014.

Ron should have had 435 children, plus 100 for the senate, plus 1 for VP and one for prez. Maybe 9 for Supreme Court justices.

I really feel like he didn't do as much as he could have.

(i'm joking of course)

(. . . maybe)

I love having all these similar looking and similar sounding "R. Paul" conservatives getting the message of liberty out. Have a huge family, people, and surround the statists with multiple versions of yourself. ;)

More conservative?!?

Anyways, Coburn (as stated previously) is probably the best current senator. He's voted against every war funding bill since March of '08.

No way, really? I didn't know there was anyone like that in the senate. How is he on other issues?

In the first half minute of watching this clip I had to stop and think "Where have I heard that voice before?" The answer came quickly: He sounds very much like Jeff Foxworthy.

We can call it the Caplan strategy (http://econlog.econlib.org/archives/2010/05/liberty_in_the.html), and it actually makes a lot of sense.
