Among Republican primary voters who watched the debate, and were not exposed to
any news coverage, Romney is perceived to have won the debate by 25 percent of
viewers. Giuliani is perceived to have won the debate by 23 percent of viewers, followed
by McCain (12%), Former Governor Mike Huckabee (5%) and Congressman Ron Paul
(3%).

But Dr Paul is still at 1% in state poll

Wait how is it possible that someone watched the debate and was not exposed to any news coverage. Maybe not after the debate but certainly before is what has the biggest impact.

This will turn on a dime after the release of the 2nd quarter finance numbers and it shows Dr. Paul up with the big boys which will get him more coverage on the MSM and that he has a reasonable shot at the nomination.

The full story in the link explained it better. Basically, Dr. Paul did best among those who formed their opinion from actually watching the debate, and less well from people who know of the debate from news coverage (go figure).:rolleyes:
