At 6:30 the doors opened and over 200 people took their seats in the old State Theater in Easton (http://www.statetheatre.org/index.php?tpl=history). At 7pm the candidates were introduced, and the debate ensued.

During the first half of the debate, a panel of individuals asked the candidates questions ranging from Health Care to Don't Ask, Don't Tell, to spending and job creation. Then came the fun part! For the 2nd half of the debate (starting at 9:40 of Part 2), the candidates were able to ask each other questions. Each candidate was given 3 minutes to answer each question.

Jake Towne asked questions like "Will you refuse the elite Congressional pension?" and "Where in the Constitution does congress have the authority to be over in Iraq and Afghanistan?". The other two candidates side-stepped his questions (I'll explain this more in a later post), Dent and Callahan decided to go after each other by asking each other some questions, and only ONCE was Jake asked a question by one of the other candidates.

I was in the crowd during the entire debate, and saw how some people were getting annoyed at the bickering between Dent and Callahan. When Towne was finally asked a question, people were relieved. This is what happened when John Callahan (D) asked Jake Towne a question. The crowd cheered with him! That is a very good thing.
