Damn this is a tough call, Romney is really attempting to buy the vote here. Should we counter this with our own votes?

absolutely. It costs $1 to become a member.

Hey wait a second here. You mean we can vote for RP on this thing? Why didn't anybody mention this?

Um, let me think about that. Ok, yeah, don't we have some sort of reputation to uphold here? Lets show Romney how to win a straw poll. I'm voting and sending this out to meetups.

WOW... wait a minute, i want to start a $1 poll.

Well we've talked about it in previous threads, I just wasn't sure. Does this straw poll have the best chance to be covered by the media, if it does than we need to do this.

This straw poll, I believe, will have a strong influence on the "values" voters.

Ok, I signed up, coughed up my buck. I also passed the story on to Lew Rockwell, heading for meetups.

A call to action, it seems to me.

requiring a $1 is quite clever actually. Get them a little $ and keeps the "spammers" (if there are any really) out. Also, Romney can't really give everyone a $1 to vote, can he? (Well he did pay a bunch of student in Michigan, but that's another story).

If we're going to do this, lets be coordinated in our effort.

I'm voting Ron Paul as most likely, Rudy G as least acceptable, and Tax funded abortion as my most concern.

Man, I am so glad they did this. I was actually thinking of coughing up the 95 bux and voting. I figured it would be like an expensive day at the zoo.

Let's push this hard.

I joined up, I gave $10 even, I disagree with some of their big government law lobbying, but whatever. :D

Good strategy, we need to nip Giuliani in the bud because Christians potentially have the most issues with him, and Romney isn't as well known to be as big of a threat.

Plus Thompson is a bore, I can't imagine him gaining ANY momentum.

I gave Giuliani the thumbs down , that seems like a good strategy, take him down a couple notches. Taking Giuliani down a notch might end up giving the Huckster a boost, but that is a battle for a future date.

the $1 registration fee HELPS Ron Paul in this case, it weeds out spammers. Everyone toss a buck and show your support behind Ron Paul!!!

This is definitely worth the $1.00. We cannot let Mitt buy another important Straw Poll

I voted for Ron Paul.

I gave $2.00 to mix things up a little in case they notice a bunch of new $1 members voting for Ron Paul.

Gave $1, and voted for RP, against Hillary (sorry, had to be honest), and against families paying taxes.

Looks like they just closed down online registrations... Perhaps they saw the storm coming?

This is a VERY important poll. Romney know this is. Just do it - give $2.

I suggest voting Romney as the least desirable, since that is what they are trying to determine - can evangelicals support mitt?

I don't know if he's begging or not, but I donated the required $1 to register on their site and I voted in their poll for RON PAUL. We seriously need to win this one, it will send a strong message!
