The people who were in charge of investigating Jack Conway's brother were donors to Conway's campaign. Independent law professors evaluating the situation are already stating foul play.

I just saw that.

It is sort of like that ethics commission that decided to dismiss the ethics complaint Dan Mongiardo brought against Conway in the primary. There, at least one person on the ethics commission was a donor,http://images.nictusa.com/cgi-bin/fecimg/?29020321449 and another wasn't even on the commission at the time they started deliberating the matter, but was appointed in the middle from a list of three names nominated by Jack Conway. http://ethics.ky.gov/membersandstaff.html This was the commission ruling on whether CONWAY had violated ethics.

It dismissed the complaint not for lack of wrongdoing, but because it felt it had no jurisdiction, given that they decided campaign contributions weren't 'gifts'. Pageone had a MEATY write up on it recently, but for some reason the media generally doesn't seem to want to look into it.

Can Conway get any dirtier?

How many scandals does a senatorial candidate need to be involved in before the media takes notice?

Depends on who owns the media.

I know, you would think that ethics would automatically exempt them from being on commission due to conflict of interest. What is really a rich comment by Jack Conway is, I only advised my brother to seek legal council, WHAT? Why would anyone need to tell a DA to seek legal council?

rand paul has the election. were jack conway to take on mitch mcconnell in 2014, senator mitch needs
some tea party people to validate him! senator mitch mcconnell seems much closer to the casting of
the claude rains role in the classic flic "mr. smith goes to washington" rather than the jimmy stewart part!

The Drudgereport has a window where you can submit news storys.Maybe they would look at it? Both parts together show a pattern,I would suggest.
