Green Party: ‘Whether you elect Democrats or Republicans, you’re getting a GOP agenda’

Democrats are shifting to the right and abandoning their progressive values, a top Green Party official charged in an interview, arguing the liberal standard-bearers can no longer be "rehabilitated" and voters ought to consider a third choice.

McLarty claimed the Democratic Party has largely gone all in with the GOP on issues such as war, civil liberties and military spending, and is moving to the right on major national issues such as health care and climate change.

"Democrats are as likely to increase military spending as Republicans are now," he said, "and the Obama administration has maintained a lot of the worst policies of the Bush administration."

As long as people vote 3rd party until the the stranglehold by the two major parties gets broken.

Yeah and it'll take less than a week before said viable third party gets infiltrated by the establishment of the former two parties.

I am a Green for Ron Paul.

A third party is a mistake. Now we'll just have 3 parties that let no one in. Forget the green "party" forget the libertarian "party".

We need to ban ALL political parties. No one ever said in the constitution that we had to let TWO PRIVATE BODIES decide which candidates we vote for in every single election in the country.

The two party system is the biggest coup in world history and it's primarily because no one seems to catch on that it's been a takeover of the entire electorial process for 200 years now.

No (D) (R) (G) or (L) beside ANYONE'S name. No "registering" with this or that faction like communist China. Let EVERY candidate, stand on his OWN record, views and associations.

At least the green party is sincere in their views and not corporatist filth the GOP and Dems.
I don't support them as they are centralists like the rest, but they are still better since they aren't corporatists.


We need to ban ALL political parties.
