Very interesting interview. J. Rogers discusses historical issues with examples of how other empires faltered throughout history, and also about current issues like auditing the fed and Fort Knox, and also the future issues of declining empires, investments, and advice. A nice mellow and entertaining interview that's suggested.

Thanks for sharing.

He says one of the best commodities is farmland. You know the outlook for the economy isn't great when the hot-ticket item is farmland.

Great to see Jim finally come speak with the guys at the Mises institute. I know Rogers likes to keep a lot of things to himself, but I think we all knew he leaned towards the Austrian school due to what he says in interviews.

Rogers is a very interesting guy. If you want to read a good book of his pick up Investment Biker.

He knows an amazing amount about the world and economies. I think he has a blind spot however in a couple of areas, including the very need for government, and his view that "rigorous" schools are a good thing. (I'm a fan of unschooling, which is the opposite of force).
